See you all in the Black Death when we eventually reach it ....

Acht, I was a near miss for this. Could have avoided a few days oppression at the outlaws' but did not have the bandwidth to get organised, given recent work commitments.

Not to worry, you can all show me the lines another time. ;-)

Have fun and stay warm ... Eek!

Have fun guys!

Fair bit of snow here and currently no power...

Awesome day (after the snow stopped).

Got home fine, about halfway along the A66 something caused to remind me that I'd filled up with oil just before I left and then had no memory of putting the cap back on...

So the engine bay is now coated in a thin film of oil and the filler cap is lodged in my engine bay (found it)...

What a track.

And enjoy Spa gentlemen you jammy barsteward.

I spent the day zooming around a high speed oval in a lightweight racing vehicle, as it happens.

That's a pedal kart at a children's farm, LOL!

Sounds like all did well - great news. What lies ahead in the Ardennes though...

What a great track! Slightly worrying to arrive at track and the snow blower being deployed but there wasn't much of a delay. The track was slippery but it dried up at lunch and we got to expereince it in the dry. One word, WOW!

Had a great time, good chat, great track and properly knackered when I got home. Hope everyone going on to Spa has a great and safe time!

Pete, I decided to stay on A1 and just bomb for home. Not sure it was any faster, got back in 4 hours but suspect the flash lights from the side of the road wasn't a tourist taking a picture! :-o Sooo many cameras on that road. Right after you split for Penrith the road was awash in blue flashing lights too, they were obviously waiting for you. ;-)

It was a great day - standard of driving was mostly exceptional - a few people with no rear view mirrors as usual but no real offs/crashes - I only spotted one brush with the tyre wall and I don't believe that did much damage.

I guess Pete's briefing sunk in ... it's a fcuk dangerous place to have an off, especially when the grass is in fact snow ...

Nice to see you all - you'll be pleased to hear that Spa was also covered in snow .. we blagged our way on in the afternoon for £80 a car which was good
Cheers,
Robin

Oh forgot to say thanks to Stu for a pax in his 211. Bit of an eye opener!

I pax'd with Pete too, hadn't really pax'd much before and now realise the benefit of seeing other peoples lines in a corner. Especially somewhere as technical as Cadwell. :thumbsup

Just back this afternoon. Brilliant trip, snowing on the Ring but still good grip, F1 circuit was more fun than expected too :D

Not too many accidents but I'm sorry to report that the Aussies in the Scuderia totaled the car big time in the series of bends just above the Karussel. :( Good news is they were insured :D
