Yes I'm sorry but it will be a bit busier than normal. This was primarly due to a problem with our club shop. It kept on accepting orders after the alloted number of slots had been sold

I was out of the country at the time, and by the time we found out, we were about 10 over.
As most of the extra cars are taking part in Time Attack, then they tend just to do about 5 or 6 laps at most and then come back in. Most have fuel tanks that only allow them a few laps.
I can only apologise in advance if the track is busier than normal, but I felt it would be horribly unfair to those who bought a slot to be told some weeks later that there was an error and thay didn't have a slot. Although a few people dropped out, most swapped/sold their slots to others and I was unable to reduce the overbooking by more than a couple, and no-one on the reserve list was allocated a slot.

Just a thought, but is it not possible for the marshals limit the number of cars on the track at any one time? Think I would rather have the occasional wait at the end of the pit lane rather than venture out on a very crouded track. The SIDC days have always been very good for plenty of clear track, especially in the middle of the session.
Looking forward to it

They do that anyway - isn't it something like 25 cars simultaneously, tops, on a trackday?

25 is the norm, with some leeway for experienced and well driven sessions.
At the Speedfair on Sunday he is allowing me 35 on track at the same time.

Due to a change of plans Sarah and I are planning on coming down on Sat. Sarah really enjoyed her first experience on track at Hethel and was wondering if anyone might take her our for a few pax laps. She claims that nothing scares hers (this can be taken as a challenge

).
thanks and see everyone on Sat.

I will be leaving abz early as I have to drop Jaci off at Dundee rail station. She is going to EDH for a spa pampering session at the Balmoral. I then have to go pick her up afterwards.
She said "I am going to be so relaxed when I come out, i will probably sleep all the way home" - don't think she was to happy when I said we will be coming back over Glenshee if its a nice day
I did offer to pay her train fare home
See you at KH.

Myself and a mate in a Chimp 500 will be meeting up somewhere. How about the Shell petrol station just South of Bridge of Dee at 6am?

Bit of an aside, but does anyone know if there is somewhere reasonable secure at KH where I could deposit some stuff tomorrow morning? I am going to have some heavyish and valuable sporting clobber with me which I don't want in the car when I am out on track. Or maybe someone coming to watch/pax could let me stick it in their car boot?

Mark

Happy to take Sarah out, doubt if she will be scared by an OAP.
Matt
I will be going through ABZ around 0600, so meet you at the Shell S/S.

Sorry change of plans for me, I've had to cancel this one at last minute.
Tut/Tony G - my mate Paul in the Chimaera will still likely be at the Shell for 6am. Can you keep an eye out for him? If he's not there don't wait as it means he's managed to find another TVR to follow down

No problem with putting stuff in my car Mark. Just let me know what time to get there for.

KH usually let me stick any boot stuff in the helmet store, reasonably safe in there.
