I'll think you'll find that if they cancel due to snow, they are liable and must give refunds. The T&Cs state that no refunds will be given if it's adversely affected i.e. if it pisses down all day. If they have to cancel, regardless of what causes it they have to do refunds.

ok, i may just be bitter that the cnuts wont give me my money back even tho i paid up in january.
and they were really rude to me on the phone - and I had to be the one to keep the head.

Surely if they cancel for any reason then a refund is due, or they could just say it's raining so GF, we are keeping your money.

As simon says if it is still open but wanky then they will quote their T&Cs. Better hope Sanjoy dosent take the Rav4 or they'll claim its open...

They better give out refunds if it is snowed off.

They must have insurance etc for such an event. :?

They will have A LOT of very unhappy customers if they don't give refunds due to snow! I aint getting speared by Javelin!

Just spoken to the women from Javelin, she says at the moment it is still on but she sounded like she was half way up from england.

she says that "they have never had to cancel an event and she is not sure whether or not we would get a refund."

She has our contact details and says she will call everyone should the event get cancelled. She knew about the snow in Aberdeen but thinks there will be none at EF. Ha shes in for a surprise! :roll:

Here's hoping that is sods off very quickly. In fact its nearly stopped :D
