haha! Good man.

I havent looked at it yet. Could do with the fastest option for this trip.

Dont really like the Englandshire route tbh, but then a night on the ferry with you gents normally leaves me in tatters for the first few days :damnfunny :cheers

Gite was easily reached in my old 4.2 Audi from Calais in 1 day...will have to search for link to gite,is run by English couple and gleamingly clean and would recommend.
That circuit is a short drive from my house. When are people thinking of going over?

Not really thought about it - cant really be assed with the run through Englandshire though

Preference would be to hit the Geordie Express for the banter but happy to go with the flow

First trackday is on Sunday 4th but we have accommodation for the Saturday night, so if we head over Friday from the toon, arrive saturday morning then leisurely drive down to Le Mans - hangover permitting

Last trackday is on the Thursday but there is accomodation booked for the Friday and the Saturday if you want to stay for a couple of day after

So realistically back on the Friday or the Saturday - We could head up to Amsterdam for the Friday night then back on the Saturday :whip

I've only just discovered Frolic is back on, and discovered this thread

I'm hoping to tag along this year too (assuming it's ok with Paul).

I'd be arriving at the circuit at Le Mans on Sunday morning, and leaving on the Wednesday morning after Dijon.

I don't know if anyone knows the hotel details yet, but the post on LOT said that people would get twin rooms which leaves space for a passenger. Would anyone have a spare bed in their room that they'd be willing to share for Sun/Mon/Tues nights? Beer tokens available in return :beer

It's been a while so it would be good to catch up with everyone :cheers

I just looked at this. i am soooooo jealous. And it's a bargain (bearing in mind how much I spent at Spa). Have LoT never heard of school holidays?

I get back from sailing with the family on the second but then I'm back in work on the eighth... Hmm Tom's idea isn't a bad one (and Mrs Pete is in Barcelona at the moment so I'm owed)

Happy to share Tom or Pete, I will have a spare as no Mrs C in the 211.

Liking Bennys plan although may have to high tail it from Edinburgh sat night to make Le Mans...

Hmm Mrs Pete is away at the moment but I think we get back from Greece on Friday - I'l need to check but could I pax (police spotter/armed with pointy stick to keep you awake etc) with you from Edinburgh??? Then fly home at some point...

Need to sit down with wife and check holidays and bank balance. (Just got a 4 figure bill from MMC faction)

I have a Touch tournament in Edinburgh on the sat but it looks like too much of a stretch to leave say 7pm for trackday in Le Mans next day. Even by SE mad scheme standards...

I think easy roll on the Geordie Express is the way for me (although my head may not agree the next day!).

Flying (both ways) would be the sensible option for you Pete. One year Nicola got a plane to CDG then TGV link to Le Mans. Quick, easy and cheap (they subsidise the flight cost if train linking, makes it cheaper than flight alone!).

Paris pretty much on the way out and return for chunnelists though...
