Hey Guys,

What's the drill up @ KH on track days..? Do you get a bit of instruction before going on..? I understand there is an instructor on hand, and hope to grab them for for some pointers. :D

Cheers,

you'll get the email through from John (SIDC) with all in info soon mate.

Instructors can come out with you but there is no instruction prior to the session starting.

Thanks Andy,

Do they limit the No. of cars on the track at any given time, or is it a free for all..?

I am really looking forward to it , just getting a bit nervous, and would hate to have a shunt first day out. :?

Cheers,
Pete :D

Dont worry about it.

Ensure you are there ahead of time for the drivers briefing.

Let John know at sign in its your first time.

Either grab and instructor first thing or come out for a pax with one of the SE boys/ask them to come out for a few laps with you.

Its not a free for all, but its open pitlane, usually 25 cars on track at any one time. Then its 1 car in 1 car out from the pitlane.

Take it easy to start with, and let people by. You'll often learn a lot watching other peoples lines and getting pax's.

Remember - it is very easy for talent to be overtaken by confidence at track days (regardless of experience i hasten to add!) - so plan to come in every 10-15 laps at first, and enjoy it. Use your mirrors and let people by safely and courteously. Its not a race remember

Oh - and ensure you have fun :thumbsup
