Yes Kenny, best to secure yourself a 'Butler' with support vehicle (eh Neil).

A single occupant Exige has proven ideal in the past, they usually have reasonable (and relatively secure) storage facilities for ferries/car parks.
The Symbiant gains little from the relationship other than reflected glory and maybe the occasional pint/pax.

You seem to need more support than most Ali! I can provide butlering on the way out but will be looking to dump a few things on someone else for the way back after picking up my pax in Monaco

I knew you were at IBIS Saint-Pouilly Genève on Saturday night, the IBIS Saint-Quentin I just booked because it seemed not to far off the route. Thought it would be good to get a reasonable start time on the Saturday rather than your planned middle of the night shennangins

For info, Saint Quentin I assume is the "IBIS Budget", as it has its own parking? That's the one I've just booked anyway. It's not far from the other "IBIS" full fat, but that one doesn't have its own parking.

As for Chunnel, I was considering buying a Flex Return. But for £400 it nipped a little, so I think I am going to go for:

Outward - Friday 14th - 21.50

Return - Sunday 23rd - 07.50

Total = £184 pikeytastic.

The return booking means belting up through France during Saturday 22nd, pretty much non-stop until Calais where there is both an IBIS Budget and an IBIS "full fat". I've just booked the Budget (pikeytastic once more), and since it's right next door to the Full Fat one we can still get a nice dinner and beer if need be

Then deposits us fresh into Blighty on Sunday morning for the joys of a cruise back up home.

Yes, the budget one in Saint-Quentin due to having parking.
I'll probably get an earlier Chunnel on the Friday but the return one on Sunday matches what I'm planning.
Got to be home Sunday afternoon to collect the hounds from the kennels.

That's cool, Kenny. Just didn't fancy parking up on M25 immediately after the Carlimits day at North Weald, may as well enjoy a meal break while the crowds subside

Choosing a later departure just takes the stress out of everything in my case.

Just bitten the bullet and booked. Not much left to fix up now...a Telepeage type thingy, and a pre-Frolic service, perhaps
