Brian I think we end up on the 2nd half of the main straight (for us the short straight after the 2nd corner before the 180 (which was nicely banked so you could take a lot of speed in and then try to get the back swinging around as you came off the camber otherwise you got a lot of understeer)

I did think that it would be great to set up a sprint there, maybe next year only thing is the organiser has to have MSA or something similar aproval. Does SIDC have that (I am guessing we dont)

Was an excellent day. Glad you guys enjoyed it (and also whipped my ass ).

My times were pretty poor compared to folk I should have been the same as.

Jamie I'm sure you did a 58sec odd and Andy in the 60's. My best was a pretty poor 61.6sec.

Good day though and it was an experience. Looking forward to the next one now. :D 8)

My time was a 58.69 think I was a few tenths away from 3rd place (should have used 1st in the last corner :( )

3rd was actually a 58.03 with another couple of folk at 58.4's. I think they had a typo with the time when announcing.

Still an awesome time though. :D 8)

The disappointing thing is that I would have though that all but 1 had more power than him.

However the full list of results is a different story

Power seemed to range from 400 striped out sprint which came 1st
think there were a couple with over 450

I got the noise meter out at one point to get a reading on my car came out at 98-99 db @ 6k Think Andys came out a wee bit louder. I then got asked to do half the field! Top reading of the day was the yellow Evo badged as a FQ500 110db @ 5500 and at idle IDLE! 105db  He did metion he had had a few issues getting black flagged on TDs not suprising really :D
I think a perfect run I could of got into 57s .... next time

I think something was amiss with the timing gear on the first practice lap as I recoreded a very good 0-65ft time just cruising off the line

yeah seems strange that the fastest 0-64 tiems were in the morning when it was damp.... :scratch
