Running a mega Audi engine, uses nitrous purely as anti-lag!

Claims it's actually very drivable - would love to find out
Wow, that's some Elise..how the hell did he get an Audi engine in there, talk about a tight squeeze :D

Ditto, would love a shot of that motor...Mmm wonder how difficult it is to cram an Audi engine in my old Elise

Not particularly difficult if it is done by Bernard Scouse, who designed and fits his Audi conversion.

Looks as if Steve may have taken it over now. However it started out as a £7.9K conversion by Bernard but is now listed at £11.4K

Whooah, really tempting, sounds as though the handling is still there, (see qoute from thier site below), and they offer a test drive, (pax)...

"The overall weight increases by about 40 kg but the engine is mounted 50 mm lower and 40 mm further forward. Therefore the overall weight distribution only changes by 2%. With the right dampers and spring rates it is difficult to detect any change in the handling."

Mmm, think I am due a new engine soon. :thumbsup

Excellent pics John.

That is Jamie Allason driving N3, but who is spinning Scotty's?

the 340 RR spin looks like the bottom of duffus (the new Leslies corner) not the hairpin

Yes you are right, it is McIntyres where Scotty span - it was rather late and my brain wasn't engaged before typing ;)

As per an earlier post.....

Guilty :wavey

I had Scotty's car out for a few laps before it ran out of brakes (Scotty had been out for some time prior to me having a go)
In to Duffus at about 90 tuts....Pedal to the floor......came back after two pumps ....off the power...tail light...very quick spin........and continued on my way

Scotty dropped off the car in Crieff last night....has changed to a dot 5 fluid........all ok
