Video 1: Trying to keep Martins Exige in view (and failing miserably!)
Looks like I need to use more of the track more often....
Other excuse for poor progress with 240 HP compared to 118 HP is I was dicking about with the traction control and I was carrying a fair bit of ballast (friend not on here!!). Could not be lack of driving talent.....Well it could actually...but must admit I had a great day. Best ever at KH in fact.....

Oh, I wasn't trying to pass comment on your driving Martin, it was a great challenge just trying to keep you in view!
But I agree, that is probably the best day I've ever had at Knockhill. Can't wait to get to Croft in July

Thanks Ferg, I drove back to Newcastle on Monday through the borders with the roof off after having spent the rest of the weekend looking at exiges on PH it did test my resolve when I got home.
Will take my time and consider the pros and cons. Any update on the brake situation?

Mark. If it helps I nearly sold my exige because I wanted to get into an S1......I will however leave that until I retire so I will have time to work on it. Your car was going like a train....nice colour to boot.....Martin

It is tricky Martin, the S1 has something about it that gets under your skin, I feel like I probably would regret selling it and there aren't that many about these days so getting another could be tricky.
I'll have a word with Craig and see if I can get a test drive in one soon, maybe ill hate it and the decision will be made for me!

They do indeed!
Newer variants are more capable, more power and more grip, but don't quite have the same driver involvement and finesse. IMHO of course

After a lot of arm chair research , the brakes look like it's just a weeping caliper under heavy braking. Not had time to work on it since.
Quick vid of the few laps I got in before brakes went pfft. Was taking it easy as the cars still an unknown...good job too..

Not many worth looking at. Was fairly tricky without 7 arms
Could have been a awkward photo if that hand was a few inches left.
Indeed, Martin getting frisky...

No parked in your usual spot this morning James. New disks look good[SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
