Thanks for the advice guys.
As with any track I haven't been on before, I will be treating it with kid gloves so to speak till I find my way round.
You never know, it might be dry for me going

What corner is Druids again? The double apex right?
Awesome track

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Yep, its the double right hander after you come up the clayhill, under the bridgestone bridge.
Nig, it really is the most treacherous corner. there is a change of tarmac on the entrance and exit. I swear its coz they've laid slippery tarmac there. I've seen people spin off there on the sighting laps when its wet.

It's the corner that makes oulton park fun

When wet you can understeer your way through the entry, right across the track to the grippy (relatively) bit of the tarmac, at which point it bites and then it does turn in and off you go - scares the crap out of me each and every lap
Cheers,
Robin

understeer?? if your not sideways from the first change of surface to the second, your not trying hard enough

I think the understeer line is faster ... and I'm too chicken to take that corner (or any other) sideways; that said I did manage to have three sideways moments in one corner in one lap at Spa when we were there a couple of weeks back, so maybe I'm crossing over to the dark side?
Cheers,
Robin

May not be faster but it is more fun
