I was talking about the lap after that one. There were red flags out and I'd already passed the chequered flag so it was the last lap anyway.
Ah well no harm done, just people enjoying themselves. That's what it's all about afterall. :D 8)

Think I went past just before the chequered flag went out but there were red flags and lights by the time I got to the chicane.

Had a hugely enjoyable day. Pretty greasy early on but ,even then, I was surprised how much grip there was. Most of my 'moments' came from staring in the mirror checking for faster traffic
Found it increasingly harder to hit the apex on the right hander at the bottom of the dip("The Scotsman" per KH map, is that McIntyres in real money?). Came in to check tyre pressures and thought 30psi a bit high
Running BFGs what would the experts recommend?

Nice to meet new faces and looking forward to seeing you at the next one.

(delurk!)

I took some photos from the trackside - see http://www.leask.org/photos/kh20070310.

If anyone wants a high-res copy of any of them let me know by email (address link on every page on that site).

Fun to watch, as ever :D :D

Donald,

Was going to say I got a couple of shots of you, and tried to get some of you with yer arse out (of the car of course!)

Having seen Cameron's efforts, I am not even going to bother sending you them as they are pants compared to those....

I think I was standing close by Cameron, you were probably the guys with the pro looking grey Canon huge lens?!

Sorry BigD, I didn't get there until later on so my chances to catch everyone on track were a bit limited!

Send them anyway Dave as they're probably not as bad as you think. The Atom one looks excellent. 8)

Didn't even see you up at Knockers. :?

Dave

I'm blushing  but no, the pro Canon lens wasn't me (I wish!!)... all the photos were taken with a bog standard 70-300mm lens. But I confess there has been some judicious cropping and a little bit of processing to improve on the hopelessly flat grey Knockhill lighting

George,

The car looked good on track, glad you enjoyed it! The black wheels go so well with that car, and the smoked lights!

Cameron,

Post processing is something i need to pull my finger out and have a go with, esp cropping as it's amazing how a simple crop can bring a picture alive.

At this rat we will be asking Mr Bryce if he can give us all some wedding work - you know take the weight of his shoulders, give him a weekend or two free!!!!!

Dave :D

Yes, car was happier at KH than dodging the potholes of Edinburgh.
Wheels also match the gaffa tape!

Love the car and had a great day, so will definitely be back for more.
Must remember to tell the insurance coy next time  :) :)
