Alfa Owners Club Day - KH - 13th April 6-8pm £55
it ended up a bit chilly in the end - almost feel sorry for the catering van guys!
I took loads of pictures on my mates new cannon D-SLR.
Was getting a bit trigger happy using the quick fire shutter.
Once he downloads the 400 or so photos, i'll post them!
Night was ended by pulling out of KH with the sight of TUT loading his car onto a low loader bound for ABZ

Another awesome night, and thanks to the Alfa boys for being so welcoming. Will definately be back if they have another.
Loving the S1, a couple of spins (trying to chase Rossybee through Duffus
) but loving the fact that for 90% of the lap it was absolutely flat out.
Awesome!
Good SE turnout too
And NR lost his tracknight cherry! And had his first spin - a good sign of effort

Brilliant night indeed!
Was effin freezing when I left home, but was nice & warm @ KH - must be a first!
The conditions were lovely, I felt I could take liberties on some of my (personally) more scary bends like Duffus (Hi Andy
) and the car just looked after me
As has been said, thanks to the Alfa guys - friendly bunch, plus the standard of driving was excellent
Had what felt like the track to myself at times, was a perfect time for newbies (Stewart McN & NR
)
Had a drool at some of the Alfas there (not forgetting the luscious Integrale
), and a laugh at some of the smoky/leaky others
Snot did me proud, only one spin - hairpin, where else?
One of the organisers took some of us non-Alfa types' details, so we'll be kept informed of any future events, really worthwhile

Ah bo**ocks... forgot to give him my details in the endrossybee wrote:One of the organisers took some of us non-Alfa types' details, so we'll be kept informed of any future events, really worthwhile

Was indeed a good evening, good bunch the AROC guys, and the track seemed to have soooo much grip

I was there as part of the Alfa club with my silver GTV 3.0l V6, it was a really good night.
Thanks to the guys who gave me passenger laps, blue S1 Elise with extra sticky tape and red Caterham superlight with lost ear plug ( sorry in all the excitement I forgot your names) the Elise was great and so was the Caterham . My daughter has been pestering me to buy an Elise, my wife wants me to stick with the GTV and I've always fancied a Caterham so I am now even more indecisive over what to do.

My post was in no way meant as a spelling correction, twas just a gentle nudge to make your deliberations less painfulwowbagger wrote:Oops sorry I've fixed it. I managed to spell it correctly twice so not too bad.

Nice GTV btw
