Ahhh what a twat too. Just lucky I went on my brakes and let him in or else he would have been tasting some of that lorry. I thought he wasn't going to pass because I left big gap in front so he could pass me easily at that wee bit that goes in duel carridge way, nope that was too safe wait until an artic is coming the other way then try pass causing me to brake and let him in. Wonder how much quicker he got to KHmeatball wrote: Scott, the megan that went past was another of his pals.....big shock eh!

He was just walking away from his car when we went into the carpark!

Sounds like an interesting TD
Re: Hot Marques 19th July
I enjoyed it.....only wish I'd been taking part......more fun than the boating the night before!
Re: Hot Marques 19th July
Yeah my point exactly. You get absolute numpties that think they have to overtake everything and it doesnt increase there speed at all. Whats the point in taking a chance overtaking. Its not worth risk unless you know its 100% safe to do so. I never make it difficult for people to do and if I see a fast car in my mirror I will hold off and let it by no problem but that was just dodgy yesterday I had to hit the brakes then he had to slam them on to miss the car in front of me and the get in before the lorry met him. All for 30 extra seconds good jobmeatball wrote:He was just walking away from his car when we went into the carpark!

Sure you lot were not at a hot hatch day? Sounds like a demolition derby.
I know KH occasionally read this (or Tut forwards it on) so as a regular KH trackdayer the above is abysmal reading. Hot marques used to be comparable with the much loved SIDC days, with alarming regularity they seem to be coming under heavy criticism (not too mention they are more expensive).
The pitlane crap with refusing kids a pax is shameful as well, I have taken plenty of kids round (edited quotes expected
) including some who were around 11 or 12 whom I asked permission for before taking on circuit.
KH, please stop hacking off paying punters, I am the first to defend oor wee circuit but yet again you have managed to shoot yourself in the foot with silly rules.

Great day out - though we complain about some dubious driving you can quickly decide who to keep well clear off and, as pointed out above in this thread, the public roads can be a lot more dangerous - ask Scotty
Mike, really impressed with how you pedal that S2000 through the corners - followed you down Duffus and then actually came to check what tyres you're on - as you say, standard road tyres

No 13 was the dangerous M3. Near miss twice in a lap
Other than him, I found the driving standard was ok. Evo's front off incident was just an accident....

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Who were the guys with the 4 S1s that kept coming on in convoy? Are they on this forum?
Curious to know what spec they are...

I have been considering putting 48's or similar on but as all the suspension is standard i don't really see the point, the only plus side for me i can see with cut slicks is them not going off as quick
Did anyone see or pick up my pump from under the benches outside the helmet shed?, i went to pick it up at the end of the day and it was gone, can't believe someone would have stolen it
