P.S. I haven't seen that email from John yet, I'll check my Spam Filter tonight... :?
:wave Yep, it was me. They did a good job of the geo, only took an hour as the camber was fine. Made an immediate difference but I do seem to have lost a little of the front end turn-in but reckon the new set up will be kinder to my front tyres.

The GMSC night was good and nice and warm - really scrubbed in my new toyos on the front.

P.S.
I received what appears to be John's second attempt at an email today. Did I miscount or are there really going to be 69 cars on track?
Hi Stewart, twas nice to meet you, wish I went up now..maybe I'll come along to the next one, when is that..? :thumbsup

You going up to KH today...see you up there if you are..

BTW, it's Pi**ing down here...I am about 5 miles from KH... :?

Yes, I'll be on track today. Just out of bed and yep, it's raining here too. Just watched the forecast and looks like it could be showers all morning. Definitely jacket weather either way.

Gives a shout if you want a passenger lap.

Cheers

Yes I had a chat with him - nice bloke mad car - 850kg, 570hp (up from 350 last year) audi 1.8 with a big ass turbo, wide track rear too 8) Hi did say if it was wet not surprisingly he would be struggling angainst the 4x4s

Great to catch up with everyone. Mark hope you got home ok

Tut - many thanks for the pax AND being kind/mad enough to give me the keys for a few laps 8) Just bizzare cruising around in 5th gear for a warm-up lap 8)

Scotty - again many thanks for the pax AND the keys - truely a stunning car looks and goes so well 8) even if the box did defeat me - for the rather sedate half spin after getting in a late down shift

Nice to see some TVRs and the Fezza being used as intended

Please find some very sideways pics the Gallery section

Many thanks to John for great organisation as usual. Short session for me - I get the muppet of the day award for not having put my oil filler cap on properly  - lost it on track early on, oil sprayed liberally over the engine. Plenty of oil left though, so no damage done and got home fine. Good to see a few old faces and put a some faces to names (Ali, Mass and Ken).

Merlin, sorry I never took you for a pax - hope you managed to get out on track with someone else.

Mark

Nope you made it on track.......unlike another SE'r who put his brakes on backwards......I won't name names.......

....but he's really dodgy, drives a blue S1 (with white stripes).......and for the slower ones......he's called Dave!

Great day once again, nice to see a good turnout of Elises/Exiges and their owners! Thanks once again to John Stewart for another excellent day, despite the concerns about how busy it might be I never found it much different to any other event.

Didn't have too much fun early on as it was just too slippy, car was a handful under braking and the kerbs were treacherous (my excuse for my first Knockhill spin in the Exige down at McIntyres  ). Once it dried out I had a lot more fun, although my front left is now looking a bit tired (no pun intended)...

Big kudos to the guy in the 360 Challenge Stradale, he had it drifting nicely out of Clarks when I followed him (not for long!) in the wet. Car sounded awesome too 8)

Mark, glad to hear the car is OK, I did wonder where you had gone as I didn't remember seeing you out there.
