That was probably your problem.

Elises are fine on track all day it seems, it's when you stop, even just for a short while, the heat from the disks soaks through the pads and calipers into the fluid. Fluid boils, and you know the rest.

After stopping, do a couple of slow laps first and you'll feel the pedal come back.

Good advice. Was thinking of uprating the pads to Pagid something or others too. We'll see how the piggy bank is at the time!

Also consider Mintex M1144's. I have used them for a year or so now and can't fault them for performance or cost.

I always do a slow lap or 2 until I feel the pedal coming back again.
