Pity if you have to cancel, was looking forward to that one - I am away in July. Have you tried putting the word out on Pistonheads or do you avoid over-publicising these events?

Hi Brunty,

This obviously isn't your fault at all, but it's probably got a lot to do with KH prices. Your prices are obviously dictated by what KH charge for hiring the track and £60 for 2 hours does seem pretty steep compared to the £75 or £80 we paid for a full day at Teesside on Monday there. I'm still up for the ones I've booked up for in the summer, but I think the costs might be putting people off.

You've maybe done this already, but perhaps worth mentioning to KH that their prices are putting people off booking up? :?

It all comes down to the fact that yes Knockers looks expensive for a couple of hours, but at the end of the day, it is close for most.

Think how much you spent at Teeside if you add it all up! Christ, i spent £50 and that was just on food and booze! Yeah, nice to have a different track, and i agree KH probably dont have much of a just reason for marking up the evening sessions, but short of boycotting the sessions - what you going to do!

One 2 hour track evening probably costs in excess of £120 for most, including Fee, gas, tyres and general wear and tear, some might even sight more! All depends on your perspective i guess!

Hey ho, who knows, but it usually still goes!

Yes, the evening rates do appear expensive when compared to a half day session. But England circuits often charge around £100 for an evening session.

Teeside is an autodrome, and thus don't ask racing circuit prices.

Unfortunately Knockhill are chasing me for confirmation of the May 9th booking, so it looks like I'm going to cancel it (unless there is a flurry of bookings this afternoon. I'll try and hold them off till tomorrow morning...

Brunty,

I booked for 9/5 but didn't pay at the time as I couldn't find the details on your site. I've been on this morning and the site is updated to take payment. I'm still doing 9/5 but if I pay and you cancel is it transferred to another night?

Cheers

Hi Clarkie,

The site has always had the paypal option ;)

And yes, those who have already paid will have credit towards another date.
