No early Sat convoy for me, I'm planning to head down Friday afternoon with family in tow. Im renting a car trailer too (just in case - following all my rebuild work). We are going to Knockhill Friday afternoon for some karting with wee Jacob. Then staying over at a nice hotel (family treat). Then joining as usual Sat morning. We will trailer my car home, i wont be driving it.
Did Jacob enjoy the karting this afternoon?

I had a brilliant day even though the weather was gash

Had a few hairy as hell pax laps in my mate's Ultima - over 700bhp meant he just couldn't get the power down so was short shifting most of the time :damnfunny

Was offered a pax in his dad's Mac M1C but wasn't sure I could fit in the "pax seat" (more like a wee pad) so was happy to watch from the sidelines, at least we could shelter in his covered trailer

Good to catch up with a few old faces :thumbsup

:cheers

Big thanks to John once again for organising today. Great to have proper drivers briefings back. The etiquette on track today was excellent from my perspective. Given the very wet conditions too. Lots of fun had! Good to see everyone too. Bring on march 2023 😎👏👏

Great time! I stayed for the afternoon and it dried up really well but unfortunately lost my coolant!

P.S. whats the best bodyshop in the central belt? Tow bar broke and damaged the clam a little…

+1 on the thanks to John, he had some serious lenses out today, does he share the photos somewhere normally?

Thanks to everyone for being helpful and inclusive, I really enjoyed my first outing in the S1!
