Signed up for that too.

I also noticed that there is a "clubs" section. I wonder if we (or maybe Lotus Eccosse or LEGS or someone) should have a presence at it.

I am on duty with Ford Juniors that weekend. Track action out of the question therefore, but we may pop along.

Being of a certain age, I have great memories of watching racing at Ingliston. Gerry Birrell, John Fyda, Bill Dyden - imps, minis, escorts and even Mustangs. Looks like a top event, our own wee Goodwood?

I remember John Fyda! And Roy Low. Ran a local garage here. Son Colin in charge now.

Doesn't look like there's a category for for a 2007 elise :?
The Modern categories only go up to 2000. Maybe I should try the "Unusual & Notable" category. After all it is the only one of its kind in scotland

Signed up for this too. Have always wanted to drive the full track! They must be heavily subscribed in the 80-00 category though so I suspect they might get choosy.

Mon' the 99 Elise!

Are they really using the full track?

They are 're-creating' the full track. They RHS built a grandstand on the original track at Arena, but the plan is to create a new loop round the back of it, using the old pit lane entry.
It will be interesting to see it, and also how much they resurface the existing track, as there were some big holes when I competed in the British Sprint championship events in 2010 & 2011!

Looking at the track diagram from the facetube page, the new pit entry is just at the Esses, in by the big house.

I was talking yesterday to the winner of the last ever race there (1994). That's where the question of full track came up, because of exactly that point re new buildings.

I'll mention to him. If he can acquire a toy to drive, he might get along :-)

Ricky and Ian Forrest used to race against each other in their Imps there.
