With expectations dampened by a poor weather forecast, this turned out to be a really enjoyable day. Great to catch up with the regulars again.

Gordon got some good sessions and worked his way down to the 61's  , I mangaged a few 59's and Dom had a go and managed a 59 too - quite impressive for a first time in the car 8)

Thanks to John, as always, for a well organised and fun day. :thumbsup :thumbsup

A really great day again. Some very fast cars out there.
At 11.15 / 11.30 it started to rain and i thought I’m not changing tyres now and lo and behold it brightened up again.
I couldn’t socialise / meet a lot of you cause I had my daughter with me and she wasn’t allowed in the pit lane due the age restriction now.

A big :thumbsup to John, another great SIDC day.

Car of the day for me was that green Clio. If that was standard it could shift!

Another great SIDC day, great mix of cars and even the late shower didn't come to much.

Some of these Time Attack cars were really quick.

Big Thanks to John yet again.

Cheers

Graham

What was happening with time attack cars? Just out with the regulars or what?

Oh?

What is the age restriction now? :?

ISTR I had my son Calum when he was about 8yrs old in the pitlane albeit beside me at all times. He's 10 now, 11 later this year.

Great day out, really enjoyed my first trackday of the year.
Car was running well until half hour from the end when the exhaust decided to part company. The welds at the connection to the manifold and to the flexi broke and the section fell out!
Noisy drive home over the Cairn but didn't spoil my day.
Thanks to John for organising another excellent day and re-arranging the weather.
Just need to fix the exhaust before TT!

My daughter is just away to turn 11. Its 16 in the pitlane now - for insurance reasons they said. Unsupervised fair enough, but a bit harsh if you are with an adult. But thats the way it is so hey ho.

Cheers for that - so does that therefore dictate a minimum passenger age of 16 then? :?

No, I dont think so. My daughter was out for almost every lap and my mate had even younger children (8) in his car. I think its still down to the individual.
