Looks like a good one.

I am going with the SLR?

Anyone else?

Andy, you have got to track!

Would a track newbie be welcome here? Sounds like a good chance to spend a couple of hours without some of the more frantic goings on that would maybe put me off a bit.

Have done the performance driving whatsit at KH and been to Spa, so not completely lacking....

Just give the left mirror a bit more attention than usual?

Cheers

Thanks Mass

Just booked. Then had a DOH moment when I realised my license is locked somewhere I can't get it, but the nice people at KH have come to my rescue.

What a donut

Thanks to Mark for lots of fun laps in the Exige - very progressive!

Kev - you could be a car salesman with lines like...they all do that sir.....

:x 1 and a half laps before my radiator started to blow like Moby Dick, that's almost £50 a lap

Got home safe, but in 2011 that's 2 track days, 2 VOR's - the curse of Tut?

Was out in the VX220, really nice group of cars, loads of space out on track and great track etiquette from everyone

Sorry if I wasn't more chatty to people was getting in a bit of a flap, turned up late, was having a lot of issues with my brakes and desperately trying to get the car plus myself ready for Ingliston at the end of the month.
Just put new CL5+ pads and discs on and managed to boil the brake fluid in around 5 laps and also found a leak in my front brake caliper, which managed to strip some red paint off them and drip onto my nice new white alloys *sigh*, that's why you shouldn't paint calipers.

Oh and ABS on the VX220 is absolutely terrible, the moment I unplugged it the car was miles nicer to drive. It wasn't a guessing game of how much force you needed to apply going into the corners anymore, until I boiled the fluid again anyways :D

Hopefully see you guys out at more track days in the future.

Benjy, it was me you were kind enough to lend the footpump to - thanks!

How did you find the CL pads (other issues aside)?

Cheers
