We call Taylors "Hairpin".

Even after seven years, I feel that I have never taken it properly, always feel that I should be able to go through faster.

Speedo has not worked for two years, and never looked at it anyway.

Speed into Duffus is dictated by how late, hard, and controlled you can brake into the apex, assuming of course you are on the correct line both in and out. Obviously a more powerful Elise will reach a higher speed by the end of the straight, which will mean earlier braking, but the end result should be the same.

After reading this thread on Friday, I decided that I would check this at Duffus, however I had a few other things on my mind and never looked at the speedo just before I braked, what I did discover though is that if you catch a much slower car close to the apex of Duffus, it's not good. :o
