Lawrence has one IIRC and I think Mac has mine.

What are the symptoms?

Temp is stable for a whilebut the shows rapid increases up to 110 - 115 or so, then back down again to 85 - 87.

No mayo on either the oil cap or dipstick, and none of the plugs have been steam cleaned, but need to be sure it's not HGF before I go further.

Still warrantied, but want to get to the bottom of this one.

More likely airlock than HGF methinks. Bleed it :)

That was my thought, but the view on the 340 group is possible HGF. Given my lack of triple-jointed fingers and wrists to get at the front bleed screw, it's easier to do the CO test first. If that gives the all clear, I'll need to get the fingers stretched and tackle the front bleed screw.

I've got a loan of an Eazibleed from Simon, so will give that a go when I get a chance.

I had that with mine over the last few days.

Do you have a PRT fitted?
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Well, the view from MMC is that it's a dodgy sensor. :D

Should get the car back early next week when the parts arrive.

I'm going to be in the great dundee area tomorrow evening - if you want me to bring it along I can and drop it of somewhere.
