Servicing

Post by Scottynic » Thu Jul 05, 2007 3:48 pm

Having read a topic regarding servicing at MMC

Can anyone recommend somewhere near Dundee or Aberdeen where I can get my car serviced when required or do I have to travel to Newcastle if not MMC.

Thanks

The only thing I am worried about is the fact my car is brand new and falkland servicing it may devalue it cos its not a dealer?

thanks tho.

Some specialists are rated above the stealers (sorry dealers!).

Only offical Lotus garage in Scotland is MMC, in Edinburgh.

Lotus Esprit S4S

I did see posted that lots of people felt servicing by a GOOD specialist was better than servicing by many dealers .

Beaten to it.

There's a lot you can do yourself too. Brake pads are a simple DIY job and even the more daunting sounding tasks like changing the radiator are pretty easy for the mechanically imcompetent such as me.

Of course for Ed none of the above applies <BG>

Is that a trick question?!

Most of us have low entry trolley jacks. I one isnt available then drive on to some wood and use a normal one! :thumbsup

Depends what you need it for.
If I was to buy another I'd go for one of these because I use my jack quite often but this is an ok cheap one that does the job and is what I have just now.
