Brembo pads, and brake pad wear question

Anyone know the best place to get some? Am I better just buying the pads over the phone from MMC in Edinburgh and getting them to post them out to the house?

My inside pad on the drivers side is down to nothing and scraping to f**k when I drive, so I need to fit the new ones pronto. I always check the outer pads when cleaning the wheels and assumed the inside ones would wear at the same rate. Surprised when I found (well, my local mechanic :D ) that the inside one was gubbed. He seemed to think it was normal though.

MMC will deliver FOC to a local John Martin Group garage.

But, you might consider upgrading the pads to something better?

ANd yes it is 'normal' for the inside pad to wear quicker on an Elise.

Cheers, MacK. My main bugbear with the Elise's braking has really only been in the wet. The ventilation is so good that the discs are quite often absolutely soaking and slow the car down about the same as when I open a window on the motorway. :D

That aside the car slows not bad, but I'm open to suggestion if I can get a bit more bite. Is it a bad idea to have different pad compounds from front to back?

Just got MMC to post them to the house. Nice parts chap gave me a 10% Scottish Elise's discount to cover the postage. :thumbsup
