After getting my car briefly 'valued' at Murrays I was told my discs and pads could do with replacing and I know my rear tyres are needing done soon.

After a bit of searching lots of people seem to recommend mytyres.com but there is no way to specifiy the dot codes online and after emailnig them got a very unhelpful response.

Re Discs and pads: where is the best place to pick up the standard ones (S2 drilled discs) from? Car will be mainly used on the road perhaps 5% on track if i get the courage! Any alternatives anyone could recommend?

Cheers!

Either go for a full set of Toyo T1-R (around £300-£340) in 185s on the front or a set of the Yoko AD07s (£394 + fitting from MMC).

For pads, just get yourself a set of EBC Green Stuff. It seems fashionable on seloc to slag them but for road use and some track they're fine and certainly as good/slightly better than standard pads.

Cool greenstuffs sound like the stuff padwise. Eliseparts do a few interesting discs. Tyre deal from MMC sounds very good (strangely good) but my fronts have about 2 metres of tread left!

Wonder if they'd sell me just two rear bridgestones.

They would but they charge £200 for a rear Bridgestone IIRC.
