anyone tried this? I've got a number of small stones wedged between the window and the dash and it would appear the only way to get round this is to remove the top of the dash.
Is it a big job and how is it done?

its not a big job it would take about 45 mins, you have to take out the o/s and n/s speaker trims, take out the 2 screws that hold down the top of the dash, take out the 2 screws that hold down the dash, take out the radio, take out the trim that is above the radio it is held on with 4 screws, you have to take the dash out from the n/s.you have to bend the top of the dash up the windscreen pillar as you lift the dash out.
hope this helps you

Watch your skin on aluminium under there, in some places its very sharp. I ended up with a nice flap of skin on my hand, lucky I have a red car.

Yep - i bled all over my car when i took my dash off. - it's not hard, just follow the steps in the service manual. - the one thing they didn't mention was that all 4 of the round vents on my dash were held in place with screws which were damn hard to remove. - i think in the end i popped the inners out of all of the vents and luckily didn't break any in the process.
i was sorting out wiring and chasing rattles. - still rattles like a bitch though! - ah well
