Scottish Elises

i have been looking at adds for S2 elise and noted on one as it said long roof no need for alane keys

could anyone make this clearer?

Are they needed for a short roof?

I've a long tailed roof, clips in at the sides like the short version and has to plastic lugs on the tails which fit into slots.

These and the roof in then tensioned by two levers in beside the rear windscreen.

No S2 roof needs allen keys. The long roof has the tails that cover the rear buttresses, the short roof is shorter (hence the name ) and has no tails. You can even take the short one off and put it on from inside the car.
