I've got my Circuit guide notes but anyone got any specific tips for any of the turns at Donny Natinal (no Mel' loop).. other than getting on track and practising of course. I get a whole day's practice fuel and tires permitting on the Saturday to try and find some balls and get into a rythm before the Sunday.
Cheers
Jon
Redgate
Hollywood
Craners
Ol Hairpin
Schwantz
Coppice
Esses
etc

It is until you get the line right - then it's fun

- but never, ever lift off through it

Cheers guys,
I read that - perhaps ease off straight after Hollywood if you have to so you're flat throttle from TP through Craners.. I hear if your entry is what it should be then you'll be working the steering a bit already so any modulation on pedals is a no-no - I hear even under throttle not the best.. flat all the way through until car stops sliding then get straight and brake/change for Ol Hairpin.... If I haven't cun*ed Redgate then I reckon I'll be still making good progress past Hollywood before early turn in for Craners. so reckon I'll def need to ease on throttle before the TP until IgGet some confidence..
do any of you downshift for Ol Hairpin or jst brake & focus on line? How late do you take Ol Hairpin?>

ahh - there's a question Shug..
still on life support but def not in a coffin..
Transmission in Glasgow - jst paid for duty (£400!) so should be with Phoenix this week then the fun begins properly..
I haven't been hanging around neither - pulled a lot of parts together, aero well under way as is sponsors etc. Jst need to secure some tire backing .. last piece for this season as well as all the hrs between now and completing the car.
We have an ambitous timetable for Donny but there are 2 rounds there with 2nd in Spet 30. In either case we'll be at the 2nd event at S'stone on 3rd June tho hope to make the 1st round.
If anyoen knows any good trans specialists who'd like to help out foc to make our G50 work then let me know.. I'm not averse to begging for help these days..
