One headlight on, one on sidelight and one drivers light 50%

Post by Sanjøy » Wed Jan 17, 2007 9:37 am

Switched the car off to get petrol this morning and left the lights on, returned to the car to see

Drivers side headlight on might have been full beam, the drivers side drivers light was on 50% and rhe left hand headlight on 50%.

Chipped off teh salt from yesterdays run and came in, will look again at lunch, initial thoughts ?

I know I had an earthing problem a few years back.

Check the big plug by your spare tyre (Or Horn in your case IIRC!) is connected properly, that is where all the lighting wiring goes. Unplug it and reconnect, see if that helps

That plug thing is stuck fast. Took the buld out of the headlights that was only on sidelight and although the elements look good it tinckles when shook. Will pop to Halfrauds on way home.

Changed the bulb in the headlight and all okay, I really think it was shoogling of the headlight wires that did it tbh.

Polishing the glass work and RainXing it all and the lights and broke the fricking lense on the other headlight.
I holed it at East Fortune and I guess the gritters and their payload got the best of it yesterday.

Scrounge time anyone got a spare pax headlight for a S1 ?
