At least it's not facking neons....
/serious answer: if MMC sell the CL as a kit, then a decent auto-sparkie can do the job. If they don't, it's a case of getting hold of a workshop manual for the leccy windows variants and start noting down part numbers

fit one of these
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Mod ... ook&U=Ecat
it fits straight into a metro door ( use the same mountings )so may fit elise straight off without using brackets for an s2
you can get replacement motors also
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Mod ... ook&U=Ecat
and even wire one up for your boot ??

Been there tried that, the motors aren't stong enough for the S1 boot release, dunno if the S2 is better. If you want a motor I have one sitting here you can have for postage

Actually been thinking about this for landy but consider i only need one central locking motor as i always open it with key in drivers door.
This is more a budget inspired choice then a weight issue though

I've tried new batteries and new fobs but doesn't make any difference, apparently it's something to do with the cars earth?? If I knew where about's on the chassis the earth attached I'd have a look, but I don't :-/
