where can i find someone to fit central locking to my elise at a reasonable price?
i can't be ar5ed doing it myself and my birthday is coming up so this would be a good present

/serious answer: if MMC sell the CL as a kit, then a decent auto-sparkie can do the job. If they don't, it's a case of getting hold of a workshop manual for the leccy windows variants and start noting down part numbers

Do the S2s have the same pitiful range ont he cobra fob ?

Change the battery! Mine works from inside the house now.

Been there tried that, the motors aren't stong enough for the S1 boot release, dunno if the S2 is better. If you want a motor I have one sitting here you can have for postage

Actually been thinking about this for landy but consider i only need one central locking motor as i always open it with key in drivers door.
This is more a budget inspired choice then a weight issue though

I've tried new batteries and new fobs but doesn't make any difference, apparently it's something to do with the cars earth?? If I knew where about's on the chassis the earth attached I'd have a look, but I don't :-/
