Sticky Rear Brakes

Now its permanently wet out there, I've had to start leaving the car in gear with no handbrake applied (and chock behind one wheel to be sure as the drive has a slope.)

If I apply the handbrake and leave overnight then in the morning it requires a good amount of throttle and I Luuuuurch backwards down the drive.

Is this normal? Even with no handbrake it seems to stick a bit after leaving overnight. No such problems in the summer.

:(

It's normal, get some heat in the brakes before you park up and it'll help a little.

Yup, Simon gave me this exact same advice when I was having this problem with front brakes seizing up and it works a treat. :thumbsup

A bit of left foot braking coming up to my house and then 2 or 3 heavy brakes on the way along the street gets the brakes nice and hot and no more seizing up. :D
