Steering axis inclination 12°

Depends what you want from it, I have -1.1° front camber on mine for track use and a lot of it is personal preference too.

Craig's having worries about it feeling vague, so I suggested making sure the geo is as factory first, then he can go about tailoring it.

I have just got new tyers on the rear and that has made a big diffrance. Just go's to show what new rubber can do for a car

And also what sh*t tyers the steeler put on it.

does the fact that your ride height is lower than standard have an effect on what geometry setting should be?
I was thinking on playing around with settings too.

You might already have a track set up. if you can get in contact with the guy you bought the car from he could tell you what he got it set at

no chance.
i asked him at the time and he didnt know what a geometry check was!
i'll need to trace it down through all of the SELOC owners.

Did he put the suspension on the car?

no - that was 2 owners ago!
the guy that i bought it from only had it from March 06 to Sept 06... and did feck all with it - apart from add a few thousand miles and wear the advans down!
I've U2U'd the previous SELOC owner

Willie at CLCM has the standard settings on his machine. Its only if you want something tweaked that you need to know what the settings are. If you dont do trackwork then stick with lotus settings i say.

What front tyre width do you have? If 175 then I agree with McApe that leaving it standard is just fine until you intend doing lots of track days.
If you have 195 on the front then I think you could happily go as much as -0.3 degrees without taking anything away from road handling.
If you're going down the R tyre route you'll want as much front camber as you can get - on the S2 you often cannot get more than about -0.4 without machining the plinths.

Robin

Robin is your previous post missing a 1?
I'm running -1.6 on the S2 and I think Simon A is running about -1.1 or something similar.

Yep, said in my earlier post I'm at -1.1 but I can't get any more than that without doing as Robin said and machining the plinths.

-1.6 is way too much for road tyres.
I am running -0.4 with the R tyres (I would have liked a little more but couldn't get it without machining) - even so it doesn't seem to be too slow
But each to his own - I am sure other people have all sorts of settings that suit them, some with more camber, some with less
Cheers,
Robin
