Scottish Elises

Hoping someone can offer some advice. The window control stopped working out of the blue. It is defiantly a mechanical issue with the cable and I am sure the motor and regulator are still working fine. I have attached a photo of a broken mount(?) that I think is the problem.

Has anyone seen this before?

The other picture is a mudflap bracket... It's a handing solution to keep the window up if anyone has this issue in the future.
