Elise replacement floor panel

Hi folks, I was going to fit replacement floor panels in the front footwells to tidy up some corrosion. The panels from Lotus are £116 plus vat, I'd seen some on eBay once for about £50. I'd like to see if I could get some cut for me. Does anyone have a pattern? Or sizes? I'm guessing it's not got any square edges so it looks a bit of a complicated measure so would appreciate any advice from anyone who has done this before. I'm also after mats with Elise written on them. They are on back order at Lotus. Thanks, Phil.

If you are fitting mats do you need floor panels? I would avoid it at all costs as you could end up with water trapped between the two floors and have the same corrosion issue or worse.

Hey Phil,
I ordered replacement carpets from Hanger 111 a few years ago, link below:

HTH
ETA:, ah just noticed they are out of stock, sorry - might be worth a quick mail to see if they have any idea when they are getting them back in.

I think you put some kind of corrosion treatment down prior to putting down panels but you might still get condensation between the two panels. Mine doesn't have any holes it's just a bit marked and pitted in some areas and I'd prefer shiny and clean. The mat keeps rolling up and then you see the dirty looking floor tray. It was an official fix under the 9 year warranty. I took the seats out last night and got to work cleaning it up and it's not that bad tbh. I wanted the 'Elise' mats but no one seems to stock them. I ordered some non embroidered mats from autostyle last night so hopefully that will keep the marks out of sight and out of mind.

If it's only pitted, I wouldn't bond in a panel on top now (I say now as I've the dealer fit warranty floor fix).
I'd clean up the surface. remove all corrosion and apply a few coats of something like clear POR 15 or Aladine. There are better paints out there but they tend to be pro use only and a bit more involved to apply.

The official fix just provides bits of cut carpet rather than actual mats. It's pretty poor quality too. I had the official fix done on my first Elise. Since then I have just used mats and fixed them in place with the fixing screw things bonded to the floor that Lotus supply.
