Worrying Steam?

Hi gents,
I have noticed some steam on start up since fitting my new Larini exhaust and it is causing me some distress! It dissapears quite quickly once temp rises.
As far as I can figure it is either:
Just the condensation burning off, highlighted by new back box.
HGF (!)
Inlet Manifold Gasket
The expansion tank level seems to be stable at around the min mark but doesn't move when hot.
Edit: It's been an hour since I got back from Preston (250 miles) and the expansion tank isn't presureizsed (I read somewhere it will shwoosh(!) if it's being pressurized by HGF) and seems to be on Min still.
Help! (Again!)
Cheers
Rich

Be calm kimosabe... It's almost definately condensation. The car is always steamy on startup - as long as it goes when it's warm, you're fine. It'll just be the change in weather too - cold, wet nights.
Sometimes the level in the expansion tank doesn't move - mine only shunts about half an inch even when mercilessly thrashed...
Is all cool

You only know paranoia when you've got a ported head, ~180bhp and no oil cooler or remote thermostat (yet)...

I've only had it 2 months...!
Mind you my warranty runs out next month... hmm...
More money then sense eh? I'll show them...
What should be first on the shopping list tho, I was thinking:
Hurricane (When I get paid next friday, checked finances and its

)
S2 suspension? Will I ever need/properly use nitrons? (Konis completly shot by now, its been 8 years!)
Poss all suspension bushes and ball joints?
Harnesses
Then the extras. Any thoughts?

As a sort-of alternative to harnesses, think about trying a cg-lock. I got one for £40 and it holds the lap portion of your normal belt tight in place. Means you still have full upper body movement but your held in place at your waist. Works quite well, other than making me need a pi$$ every time I use it
I'm happy to give people a shot of it at KH if they want, just ask.
