Tyre wear issues

Looking for some help on uneven tyre wear on the front.
New Bridgestone's put on the front in February and had done about 6k
including 4 trackdays, east fortune and 3 knockhill.
When changed last week they were a sad sight, bald on the inside and easily 3 mil on the outer .
Why is this? camber or toe? maybe to aggressive on set up or just a crap one?
Tis a VX which IMHO does not have to much under steer .
Will be getting GEO checked before I feck more tyres but would appreciate some advise before I do, last thing I want is an under steering monster.

sounds like too much camber for what your uses are. No point having loadsa camber if your not getting the car leaned over enough (i.e. on track)

On my car, my 48's wear pretty evenly (give or take) but my advans always wear on the inside edge first, because on the road there is less chance to get it up on its toes

But will less camber not mean more understeer?

If you have loadsa camber, your contact patch is tiny until you get the car leaned over. So unless you can get it pitched over to require the camber, i cant see it making any difference

Falkland performance is nearest for me for a Geo check,

He's great, just don't expect and laser alignment or fancy workshop or even any workshop for that matter. He works out of his parent's garage just now but is well worth the trip. Let him know I recommended him, I think he'd like to know people are doing that

i had mine done on friday by mark and he did a great job, really enthusiastic and really cares about his work, well worth the trip!

I've been told that the Bridgestones tend to show wear on the inside, when they wear down.

Mine were the same, and I've changed to the Yokohamas, which are wearing evenly.

I have used Falkland Performance for geo on the S1 and they were great. I think they tend to use the setting from someone in Aberdeen (maybe Ali?) gave them but can easily customise it to suit.

They have always been more than welcoming and very meticulous. I was selling my Seat Leon Cupra and it needed new pads so did the geo on the elise and the cupra pads at the same time. The guy took the supra out for a test drive, came back in again, working on the car and then back out again. When speaking to them about what was wrong - he said my brake pedal was squeeking on the test drive so took the car back in to make sure the brake pedal was oiled and greased - service above and beyond.

So definitely would recommend them.
