Scottish Elises

Starting to reassemble the front suspension and I have a couple of questions.

1. I bought these ARB bushes http://www.elise-shop.com/anti-roll-bar ... -p-59.html the equivalent Elise Parts bushes come with molybdenum grease, do I need to lubricate the ones I bought?
2. How do I remove the front flexi hoses from the chassis, I assume they are just bolted in, but its hard to see what's going on.
3. My MMC discs have an imprint of the pads on them, I presume when I put the car away when it was damp/salty and the pads bonded themselves to the disc.
I now have a feeling like warped discs, which I think might be caused by the pads grabbing as they pass over the imprint. I am sure I read somewhere about lightly sanding the pad material off the disc, can someone confirm?

Do you still have the original rubber flexis?

The flexi pipe joins the braking system inside the black fibreglass beam.
When I fitted by braided pipes 5 or so years ago, the advise was to cut a slot that you could fit a spanner into in order to get the pipe off, and the new flexi on.
If you look at this photo, slightly further forward than the towing eye (to the right..) you can see the pretty poor looking slot I cut 5 years ago using a drill (click for higher res)

ARB wise, I did mine last year and did a LOT of readiny (outside of Lotus circles).
Some people said Nylatron should be fitted with grease, others said the whole point is it doesn't need it.
Generally, I think you don't want petroleum based grease, which is why moly is recommended.
I can't remember what I used, but it wasn't moly as I don't have any. I may have fitted dry..

Disc wise, not a clue. MMCs are pretty solid things, so I don't see the hard in giving them a sand..
I read an article that explained there is no such thing as warped discs and that it is almost always pad material on the disc..

Yes the rubber flexihoses are still on there, I guess I could cut a slot, or would a crowfoot spanner get in there?
One other question, do the MMC pads contain Asbestos?

Not sure if a crowsfoot would fit, I don't own any and haven't really looked since 5 years ago.

I don't know about the asbestos, I'd have thought that there would have to be one of the old 'A' warning labels on the Elise if they were, and mine didn't have one. I'd also think that there would be warnings on the Eliseparts site.
