Lumbar bag fix

Hey all,

I'm currently speaking to a chap about his Elise I'm interested in and he has mentioned that the lumbar bag no longer inflates. I can at times get some jip from my lower back so would really like to have the bag operational.

Could anyone let me know what's involved in repairing the bag? Cost / time / effort sort of thing, just so I have an idea in my head.

TIA :cheers

-Mark.

You could try some tubeless tyre sealant?

Thanks guys,

I'm not sure how you'd get at it - I guess rip off the leather?!

it could be the release valve, both of mine had pinged out so the bags cannot be inflated. If the bit and the spring are still in the car it seems to be a "push back into position" repair

Probably the valve/pump. Cheap to buy a new pump, only about £10 IIRC
