Here we go again...Car accident damaged and repaired by JM bodyshop in Perth. Returns with a faulty immobiliser light. (System works ok, but immobiliser light doesn't go out- constantly flashes whilst driving)...Perth took the car away again, returned it with problem unsolved. Reading between the lines they dunno how to fix it, and suggested booking the car into Edinburgh "as they are more familiar with this type of thing"
Car now booked into MMC, but graham is saying that this is likely a problem with the stack ECU, and not attributable to the accident, therefore they will charge for repair.
Funny how the thing worked perfectly before they got their hands on it. GRRR
Rant over. Probably to be continued

I wouldn't take a salesman's word for it.

Very true.
Would you trust an NHS manager (ie organiser and promoter of products/services) to do your bowel resection (mechanical/technical expertise) ?

Why has Graeme had any input into this? It's nothing to do with him as he's sales. You need to speak to your insurance company and make the complaint through them and if you need to, speak to Bill Young at MMC as he's the service manager.

Cheers for comments...spoken to Bill too...had been told to speak to Graham by the bodyshop in perth (dunno who's who, but learning fast thanks)...maybe won't say any more till this is sorted...hopefully a storm in a tea-cup, but I'm just pissed that nothing has been simple so far....worked when they got it, didn't when they gave back = no brainer i hope
On a brighter note, a customer service questionaire has just arrived from JM Group! He he he

Bertie do you actually think they dont know what is wrong with their own fecking compnay. Problems are rife. The questionnaire is a sweetener for mugs im afraid - makes us think they care....see company slogan - load of bollocks. If you have something to say to them, say it. Good luck.
