Parked the car up when it was raining, didn't drive it for a couple of days.

tried to drive off and the handbrake was well stuck on, had to give it about 2000 rpm to free them off :shock:

Yep. You can try to park up with hot brakes, but if it's driving rain, it'll still happen.

I just leave it in gear and don't use the handbrake.

Of course it helps if you don't park on a hill :lol:

Also the severity is a bit dependant on your pads but yes they all do that.
I've got Carbon Lorraine RC5+ which are classed as racing pads, never put the handbrake while it sits at home but I've seen them stick after leaving car sitting for a few hours out and about if it is wet
