Dipped headlights on V6 Exige

Post by Kinger » Sun Sep 22, 2013 10:00 pm

Hi,

Had a 100 mile drive in the dark on unlit roads tonight coming home from Nairn and didn't enjoy it at all. The dipped head lights were woeful, I remember my 111r's lights weren't great. Well tonight was a real struggle. I'm wondering if any other V6 drivers are having the same issue, hopefully mine just need re-aligned, They point straight down, I paced out the extent of the beam and it was just over 30 feet. It wasn't too bad on main beam, but on dipped, lets just call it exciting.

Would be grateful to hear how other V6 owners find their headlights.

PS my old Exige had great Headlights, hopefully these just need re-adjusted.

Cheers

Graham, Hope alignment sorts the beam spread but if not try thesehttp://www.powerbulbs.com/product/osram ... -two-bulbs I originally had HID's in my Exige but as they weren't fully legal swapped to these bulbs. Just as good if not better :thumbsup

Cheers

I must admit I'd been thinking the same recently. It's great on full beam but pretty poor on dipped. Not sure if it's alignment or they just aren't bright enough
