Well...I fancied having a shot at doing vinyl stripes and the idea of having something slightly different on the car. Unfortunately it got dark by the time I did the back and rather than do the sensible thing and stop, I cracked on. I fear the results might not be as good considering how complicated it became over the rear lines. I basically gave up at the end when I was beginning to cut random shapes and patch it. I'll take it off again and cut more to have another shot. Might change the approach a little too. Generally an interesting learning experience with the vinyl.
They might not be everyones cup of tea but interested in what you all think.
Before and After.

Think Sanjoy got his threads crossed...lol
TBH the front of the car is quite badly stone chipped but the colour hides this quite well. Shine was probably from a fresh wash.
Reaised this morning that there are a number of imperfections in the first application. Lots of bubbles etc. Spent a bit of time today removing a lot of bubbles and having a second shot at the back. As anyone at Murrays this morning will have noticed, the back was a bit of a mess. Second shot worked better but still poor around the break light. Looks ok at a distance but still plenty of room for improvment. Anyway, heres a pic from the rear. I'm happy with the effect, just need to get the finish sorted.
