A freind co-authored this so I'm a little biased but it is a great read for those who like techy stuff. :thumbsup

I wonder if, one day, one of these will be recovered and restored. :scratch

Some might tell you that they're both still lying at the back of the big shed they filmed the moon landings in...............

Off topic I know but - I did hear somehwere the the Japanese have been scouring the moon landing sites with big scopes looking for evidence of the landings, so far no result.

Personally I don't side with the whole conspiracy thing but as it's the Ameican's we're talking about here anything is possible.

There are certainly some questionable pictures and videos that make the idea of it being a con a lot more convincing.

Best one of the lot though was the Daily Sport (I think?) reporting that Hitler had crash landed a bi-plane up there :damnfunny

That was news to me Pete.
Just did a quick search on Google and apparently this was confirmed by Mythbusters.
There are three up there. Maybe Hitler left them......

The "lunar reconnaissance orbiter" has been orbiting the moon for the last few years and has taken quite detailed photo's of all the Apollo landing sites which quite clearly show the tracks equipment etc left by the astronauts. However no sign of Hitler has been found.

Not surprisingly really, think you would need a telescope with something like a 200 metre diameter to be able to see an object on the moon, current largest is about 10 metres.

Are there not Transformers there too? Maybe Hitler crashed into them. The most disappointing thing about the movies is that they did not make the same transforming noise as they did in the cartoon. I am not going to even attempt to type the noise

I spent half an hour this afternoon whilst eating my lunch reading some of the conspiracy theories about the moon landings, both sides of the argument.
I'd highly recommend against this, as unless you pop up there yourself to check you'll just be going round in circles for the rest of your days trying to find a convincing answer.
Transformers living up there sounds quite sane in comparison to some of the theories.
