Pagid RS4-2 for S1 - best price currently?

Post by campbell » Mon Oct 01, 2012 12:13 pm

Seems Eliseparts, Eliseshop and Hangar111 are all hovering around the £132 for a set of Pagid RS4-2 fronts.

I will be acquiring (maybe even fitting) a set before the Oulton-Anglesey double-header in late Nov.

Anyone recently beat £132 shipped?

As the price of Pagids continues to rise I moved to the top OMP pads. Had them on for quite a while now for track and road and they are lasting well.

£48 including free £15 of DOT 5 brake fluid.

Thanks Tut. However I have run Pagids for a long time now, only chopped n changed in last 3 years for economy reasons (to Mintex) however I plan to stick with what I know for now.

Robin kindly provided a set of part-worn Pagid fronts before Spa 2 years ago and the brakes have quite frankly felt awesome again. I no longer do enough miles to "experiment" or risk a change that doesn't work, which is why I am also ruling out Carbone Lorraine RC5 or whatever they call those.

Looks like Geary could be getting yet another order from me then ;-)

Campbell

I am having a go at the new kevlar EBC Yellowstuff pads
Good reviews - No Noise and effective from cold
There are vouchercode offers from EBC direct etc

:cheers

How many miles til your disks are shredded though? This seems to be the main concern with EBC pads to date...

Keep us posted though...indeed, maybe I'll witness their superiority at Outlon & Anglesey!!
