Guys... Long time no speak
Is SLS still on the go? Tried Ali's numbers - both appear disconnected.
If they are gone, who would you recommend for a tonne of work on my 2007 Elise R?
Gary.

Craig does a pretty good line in personal service, so I think you'll be OK taking the car there. Failing that people use Falkland Performance also?
Cheers,

I know he gave up the Loanhead workshop last week so that number wont work. I think he is still doing some work from his home garage but not totally sure. I'll be speaking to him tomorrow and will ask.

Okies if you could ask him if he could handle a fairly big job?
Head gasket amongst other things.

Sorry, didn't make that clear. Craig is the service manager at Murray's so contact via Murray's (google murray motor company if you don't have it - I haven't got number to hand).
Cheers,
Robin

Murray's number is: 0131 200 8888
Been using Murray's for a long number of years now (did go to Ali's once) but the service from Murray's is now top class thanks to Craig. He has managed to show a great level of personal service to the majority of members on Scottish Elise's.
The pricing is also very reasonable nowadays.

See the MMC thread in general. Nothing but praise for their work and customer service and you have dealer service history to boot.

I left an engine and gearbox there too - would be nice to get back but totally my fault for not getting round to collect it

Only your fault if you knew he was about to abandon ship ! (*edit*... don't know that he's done that, but bit concerned he hasn't been in touch and his mobile isn't working anymore!!)
Didn't mention it to me when I spoke to him only a few weeks ago about picking up my stuff (for the umpteenth time, only to find he still hadn't put the tyres back on the wheels as promised and paid for !!).
I'll be heading through tomorrow to find my stuff and pick it up. Hoping I hear from him before I get there or I'll just need to pop round to his parents and see if they can help me locate things!!
Slightly unhappy is a bit of an understatement right now...

In my case I had meant to pick the engine up in a week or so - 9 months later hadn't bothered my arse to do it
