Fitted. Seems to have flattened the torque a bit but it is now pulling form 2.5k upwards! No huge peak at 4.5 but much more flexible and still more than enough (For now!)
Feeling poor ATM, so RR will have to wait!

The low port head and the old valves/caps/springs have gone to the owner of a 1.4 8 valve rover 25 that has just blown it's HG.
Total cost:
~£750 (but the spare head is worth ~£150 and Tom has bought my old flexi for £50)
Was it worth it?
I think so, I doubt you would have got as far using one of the professional outfits, DVA 13a kit is £880 and you have to supply the head...
I am chuffed at what we have achieved. It is we as I had more than a little help form several members, be it advice, a helping hand, a driveway, cups of tea, some old spares, and quite alot of encouragement!

It will be good to get it RR'd to see exactly what we have achieved... (122 Bhp probably :roll)
So who want's their head ported next then?
