Anybody know if S2 front brake calipers and discs are the same as those on the S1?

Thanks, it is a complete package of nearly new factory yellow callipers, plus discs and pads, at a good price. However when we design the S2, lets up the discs by 6mm so that there is no compatibility.

However managed to get two brand new front callipers with pads and pins for £185.

Not just diameter though Tut. Different PCD, offset etc.

Tut - did you get the disks or was it a different deal?

I did not go ahead Gav as the discs were no use to me.

However if you wanted them we could split with me paying the major part.

The S2 is a little heavier (and moreso now...were they future-proofing!). The later disc might be more easily available depending on other applications.

Might all have been driven from the improvement in hub and bearing components, remember...the S1 versions are cheese, allegedly...

Gav, just noticed that the calipers and discs are from a 240R.
