Waiting for Adam&Page to call me back....but...
Having spoken to Craig at DemonTweeks, Toyo R888s and Yoko 048s are almost impossible to source since the japanese earthquake! Once stock have run out I guess we will just have to wait until production resumes (?)
DemonTweeks estimated dat for next delivery is 22nd August.
Might have to try Khumo 70 Softs

Anyone tried the R1Rs yet?

I have R1Rs - excellent.
I run/ran 48s on my hillclimb car and they're great - the R1Rs are very similar in terms of overall grip. Take a little longer to come up to heat but that's not a big issue to me, especially on the road. It's not that they take ages, just longer than medium compound 48s.
Not tried them in proper wet conditions but suspect they'll be superior to the 48s

With your natural talent you won't need softs
