Scottish Elises

So...

When I get up into the higher revs, I can hear a 'hamster on its wheel' type squeak from behind my right shoulder.

Assumed it was probably a loose alternator belt, but I've just checked it and it seems nice and tight.

Suggestions for what else I should check?

Does it squeak in concert with the engine revolutions or only when you change load on the engine? I.e. once it's squeaking if you maintain constant speed does it keep going squeak-squeak-squeak, or does it squeak only when you change throttle position?

I can feel a trip to SLS coming on soon.

It may be the heatshield squeaking/rattling... (improvised by me and VXJon out of some Nimbus).... but It's kinda hard to hear what's going on over the other metallic vibration noises which seem to have developed after me tightening all the loose bolts up in the heatshield and undertray. I may be mistaken, but I'm sure I can hear a wee whoosh over my shoulder too now.

Clearly it needs more rough love!

Whoosh will be the dumpvalve horn you installed.

I actually have exactly the same problem. If i am in traffic and rolling slow it squeaks slowly and the faster I get the faster the squeaking does until i cant hear it anymore!!!! Defo coming from engine area on mine!!!!!!
